Anthony Daly

Head of Assessment Research

Anthony joined CERP in September 2006. He has a BPsych (Hons) and a PhD in Education Psychology, both with Flinders University, Adelaide. Anthony's duties at CERP combined operational research and more general research and policy analysis. Studies included investigations into Stretch and Challenge in A-levels, the effects of test anxiety on performance, student motivation in the Extended Project, and opinions regarding admissions to Higher Education. Before joining CERP, Anthony held Visiting Researcher and Visiting Lecturer posts in the European Institute of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey, and has been involved with a number of research projects in Australia, the UK and Europe, mostly related to aggression and violence in schools. Anthony returned to Australia in 2011 to take up a position as Research Fellow at the University of South Australia.
